To reach Tanager House from I-59 Exit 222/North Fort Payne:


-Proceed north on Hwy 11 approximately 2 miles to Y at Chevron Station.

-Take left onto Smith Gap Road/County 85 approximately 1/2 mile.

-Turn left onto paved driveway of 1714, which has the only mailbox on the left.

-Continue past the visible house, onto the unpaved drive, and up the hill until you arrive at Tanager House (about .2 mile).
